Concept of machine's 

We all know and used the word machine we all use machine for one thing or another but the question is what's a machine?

A machine is a tools or device in which work is done more easily and  effort applied at one point is used to overcome a load at another point.

  Terms used to describe a machine 

a). Force ratio-machanican advantage (mA) of a machine is the ratio of the load to the effort. The effort is the applied force or input force while the load is the resistance to overcome or output force machanical advantage = load over effort

Given The load and effort E then N.A = l over e also N.A= output force all over input force.

b). Velocity ratio vR or A mechanic is the ratio of the distance moved by effort to the distance moved by load.

VR = distance moved effort all over distance moved by load.

Given the distance moved by effort= x and distance moved by load=VR = x all over y.

   Efficiency of a machine 

The efficiency of a machine the ratio of the useful workdone (work output) by the machine to the work put into (work output) the machine it's expressed as a percentage efficiency E = work output all over work input × 100% 

But work force × distance e = output force x distance moved by output force

Input force x distance moved by input force= load x distance moved by load all over effort x distance moved by effort x 100% 

=Load all over effort × distance moved by load all over distance moved effort × 100%

= Load all over effort × distance moved by effort all over distance moved by load ×100%

But load all over effort= M.A and distance moved by effort all over distance moved by load= U.R

Efficiency= M.A All over U.R ×100%

A perfect or ideal machine is 100% efficient also in an ideal machine. The velocity ratio equal the machine advantage

However in a practical situation the efficiency of a machine is usually less then 100% this is because frictional force are always present and part of the effort applied is used to overcome these frictional force.

 In other way mechanics can be defined a technical robot that helps us with our need such as transportation, mobile devices (phones) and so many but the most important of all is know as transportation and mobile device because without transportation you can move from one place to another, noted not that you can’t move from one place to another but transportation makes it easier and faster so will all need transportation and also mobile device,
