CONSTITUTION OF EGUONO R'IGHENE EHWERHE SOCIAL CLUB (agbarho delta state, Nigeria)

      EGUONO R'IGHENE EHWERHE SOCIAL CLUB of AGBARHO DELTA STATE, NIGERIA

                             Constitution

Name: the club is called and known as Eguono r'ighene ehwerhe social club with a slogan "oye aguonore"

Motto: the club come together in unity we stand (I.U.W.S)

Aim: to fosters love and unity among members and assist member(s) when necessary.

MEMBERSHIP

1). Every law abiding male from ehwerhe that resident in Nigeria and and who is ready to abide by the constitution and obey the governing body and ready to defend the constitution always.

2). An intending member shall apply in person care of already existing member who will introduce the intending member to the club and after proper screening he may be admitted.

3). Any intending member, after the approval of his application, he will submit the following items:-

i. Bottle of st. Remy

ii. A plate of kolanut 

iii. Two hundred naira support 

iv. Five thousand naira.

4). Member seizes upon resignation, expulsion or death.

5). All members must abide by the constitution.

 

         Dissolution and election of officers

At the end of two year's tenure, new officers shall be elected. And all out-going officers to make available to hand over all the official document(s)/thing(s) in their possession.

1). The club shall raise her fund through the following:-

I. Entry fee 

ii. Monthly due

iii. Absenteeism

iv. Excuse fee

v. Entertainment during parties/baby visitation/meeting hosto

vi. Lateness to meeting/parties

vii. Fines imposed not specified above

viii. Levies and contribution shall be raised when necessary

2). The treasure shall be in possession of five thousand naira (5,000,00) cash for contingency. Also, the treasurer's must not be in possession of monies meant in bank for more than 48hours.

3).  Bank

The club shall open a savings account with any reputable commercial bank.

ii. Signatories 

The signatories to the account shall be the chairman, secretary, general and treasurer.

iii. Mode of withdrawal

For withdrawal to make place, the chairman, secretary, general and the treasurer must be present or the chairman and any of the other signatories.

4). The house hall will be audited annually.

Sec 5

          MEMBERSHIP WELFARE/BENEFITS

Parties to be celebrated in a year

The club will be celebrating three (3) parties in a year and an additional one

1). On conditional. The intending celebrant must notify the club at least two

2). Meeting before the date of the party.

  The club must attend any assistance party apart from those in section 5, above and the intending celebrant must notify the club at least one meeting before the party.

Member shall call for one minor party and one assisted party in a year.

The club will celebrate with member (s) any of the following:

i. Father's burial ceremony

ii. Mother's burial ceremony

iii. Wife Bride prize (diary/marriage)

iv. Baby visitation

v. Assistant party

The club will present to the celebrate 35,000 naira a week before the party and the same amount shall be contributed by all members at two thousand naira per member.

Every member is to present to the celebrate a minimum of one thousand naira. The club is going to use the money to buy a cloth for the baby's mother.

3). If a member is invited to the club for party/occasion and his attendance is irregular and is indebted to the club, his fan much be paid and debts must be subtracted for the thirty-five thousand naira and the balance given to him.

4). On the day of party the celebrate must set a canopy for the club, table and chairs well arranged and the club banner tired on it. On arrival, the celebrate shall present to the club first of all a bottle of hot drinks.

5). During the party floor members shall spray the celebrant the minimum of 1,500 naira executive 2,000 naira for any domination but not less than hundred naira note. Failure to spray the amount correctly will attract a fan equal to the amount to be sprayed 

         General meeting

1  The club shall hold monthly meeting on every second and last Sunday at 2:00 p.m prompt at the chairman's residence. Also, the venue of the meeting shall be rotated from members residence to another if the need arises.

     Executive meeting

2. The club shall hold her meeting on Thursday before the general meeting at 5.00pm at the chairman residences

Emergency meeting

3. Emergency meeting shall be call anytime if there is need for it.

4. Quorum shall be formed with at least ⅓ of the members at any meeting. The decision (s) taken by simple majority shall remain legal and binding on all members.

       Discipline 

1. All members must be self disciplined, loyal honest at home and in the club.

2. Any member whose behaviour is tarnishing the image of the club shall be recommended for trial by the executive committee is; if such member is found guilty he will be fined, suspended as the case may be.

Improper dressing by any member to a party, either minor or major he will be driven to play the fine to be decided by the house.

Improper act of an executive may result in impeachment if found guilty.

3. Failure to attend a full party is 1,000 naira and 1,500 and 2,000 naira to be sprayed

Failure to attend an assistant party is 5,000 naira and 1,000 naira to be presented.

Failure to attend baby visitation is 5,000 naira 

Lateness to full party is 200 naira

Lateness to baby visitation is 200 naira

Lateness to general meeting is 50 naira

Failure to attend general meeting is 1000 naira

Failure to attend an executive meeting is 1000 naira

Failure to pay party Levy at stipulated date/time is 500 naira

No party due to excuse

Any member that failed to pay these dues for the three consecutive meeting without proper reason shall forfeit his membership.
